(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Wednesday the Turkish army announced, that its warplanes carried out several sir strikes on targets belonging to Kurdistan Workers Party north of Iraq and southeast of Turkey.

The Turkish army said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Yesterday, Turkish warplanes bombarded hideouts belonging to the fighters of Kurdistan Workers Party near Şemdinli City southeast of Turkey.”

The statement added, “The air strikes also targeted a number of weapon caches belonging to the PKK north of Iraq.”
