(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – An informed source said on Saturday, that Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi decided to postpone the formation of the technocrat government for two days, while pointed out that some political blocs have not submitted their nominations on time.

The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “During the parliamentary session the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi decided to postpone the formation of the technocrat government for two days.”

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added, “The government formation was postponed due to the delay of some political blocs in submitting the names of their technocrat candidates in the period set by the Prime Minister.”
