Baghdad Operations foils ISIS attempt to break security cordon in northern Fallujah

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – Baghdad Operations Command announced on Sunday, that the security forces and al-Hashd al-Shaabi foiled an attack launched by ISIS to break the security cordon on Albu Shajal.
The command said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Today the security forces and al-Hashd al-Shaabi in the northern axis of Baghdad Operations foiled an attempt carried out by ISIS to break the security cordon on Albu Shajal area.”
The statement added, “Dozens of casualties were inflicted on ISIS during the operation.”
