Iraq receives third batch of US F-16 fighter jets

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced the arrival of the third batch of F16 fighter jets to Iraq as part of the contract with Lockheed Martin in the United States.
The ministry in a statement, said, “Third batch of F-16 fighter jets were received by Iraq recently, and they will enter in the battles to liberate Mosul city from ISIS grip.”
The Iraqi air force has primarily used the jets delivered in the first and second batch to carry out deliberate and strikes against ISIS across Iraq.
