Blast in south of Baghdad, eight casualties
(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior informed on Thursday a bomb blast south of Baghdad killed three persons and injured five others.
Sharing details the source said, “An explosive device exploded this morning, near a popular market in Madain, south of Baghdad, killing three people and wounding five others.”
“Security forces rushed to the area and carried the wounded to a nearby hospital. The dead bodies were sent to the forensic lab. Forces later cordoned off the area,” further added the source seeking anonymity.
