Saraya al-Salam, security forces free 2 abductees north of Samarra
Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) Saraya al-Salam announced, on Thursday, that it managed, backed by security forces, to free two abductees, north of Samarra District.
Military assistant of Saraya al-Salam Commander, Naji al-Maryani, said in a press statement that Saraya al-Salam (Peace Brigades), backed by Iraqi security forces, managed to free two civilians, after being abducted in al-Armushiyah area, north of Samarra.
Saraya al-Salam forces are exercising efforts to impose control and maintain security in the city of Samarra, Maryani added.
Noteworthy, Saraya al-Salam militia are deployed in the different areas of Samarra, to defend the district and maintain its security.
