SDF attacks Islamic State locations near Raqqa
Raqqa (SyriaNews.media) The Syrian Democratic Forces, on Thursday, launched a violent attack on the locations of the Islamic State group near al-Assadiyah Village, in northern Raqqa, Qasioun News agency reported.
The clashes coincided with mutual artillery and rockets shelling, while aircraft of the US-led international coalition bombarded the areas of al-Sebahiya and the intersection of al-Jazra and al-Hesaywa, north of Raqqa, without causing any casualties.
In related news, fighters of the Islamic State group arrested a youth in al-Mansourah town, west of Raqqa, on charges of spying for the international coalition.
Noteworthy, Syrian Democratic Forces, backed by the international coalition air force, recently captured several villages in eastern and western Raqqa.
