Iraqi Air Force celebrates 91st anniversary

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Iraqi Air force held a ceremony marking the 91st anniversary since its founding in 1931.
The Iraqi Air Force has become stronger in the last decade and played a key role in assisting and defeating ISIS (Daesh) and maintained recent stability throughout the Iraqi air space, land and marine borders.
The Iraqi government’s official twitter account tweeted today saying: “On the 91st anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Air Force, we extend warmest wishes to our brave pilots, and dedicated technical crews, and honour the sacrifices of the martyrs of the Air Force and all other formations of Iraq’s armed forces.”
