 Iraqi Foreign Minister visits Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi (IraqiNews.com) – Fuad Hussein, the Foreign Minister of Iraq, traveled to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to meet with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister responsible for the country’s Foreign Policy and International Cooperation.

The two sides discussed measures to strengthen collaboration across all fields as well as Iraq-UAE relations during the meeting.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed wished the Iraqi government well in fulfilling its national obligations, which include consolidating security and stability in Iraq and meeting the people’s expectations for greater progress and prosperity.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed also lauded the long-standing ties of brotherhood that exist between the UAE and Iraq, emphasizing the desire of the two brotherly nations to deepen and expand these ties for the sake of their respective citizens.
