Riyadh Cables receives export order from Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – The Wafaa Al Furat Electrical Materials Trading Company in Iraq and Riyadh Cables Group in Saudi Arabia recently inked a contract to import electrical wires and cables into Iraq.

According to Zawya, exports from Saudi Arabia to Iraq will start in 2023, and the deal is anticipated to be worth $25 million.

Iraq and Saudi Arabia have the potential to enhance the regional economic and logistical gateway by utilizing land borders, notably the recently built Jadidat Arar port and border crossing.

Relations between the two nations have improved recently. Fuad Hussein, the Foreign Minister of Iraq, highlighted yesterday at the World Economic Forum 2023 the depth of relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing that Iraq is working to improve its relations with Gulf nations generally and Iraqi-Saudi relations specifically due to their strategic importance.
