Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – A source mentioned that a drone crashed in one of the areas of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, Shafaq News reported.

The source explained that the drone fell on a house in the Sebiran complex in the city of Erbil, with no casualties reported.

Shafaq News elaborated that the Kurdish Security Forces (Asayish) arrived at the scene and started an investigation, adding that the source suggested that the drone belongs to the international coalition.

The spokesperson of the Asayish, Sabah Khader, illustrated that a drone belonging to the coalition forces crashed because of a technical failure.

Khader clarified that the drone was on a training mission and was found after it was identified.

Khader added that the drone fell in the yard of a house in Siberan district, causing damages to properties in the area, without causing any human losses.
