Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Canadian frozen beef products from calves under 30 months old can now be sold to Iraq. This expanded market access is the outcome of talks between the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Iraqi officials. The CFIA has launched a new beef export certificate, which is accessible via the agency’s online services portal, “MyCFIA.”

The opening of the Iraqi market for Canadian beef products is good news for the industry, which has been looking for opportunities to expand its reach. With a population of over 40 million people and growing economy, there is a significant demand for high-quality beef products in Iraq.

The access to the Iraqi market provides Canadian beef producers with an opportunity to cater to this demand and establish themselves as reliable suppliers of high-quality beef products.
