ADNOC Logistics & Services’ expands into the Iraqi market

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) – Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Logistics and Services (ADNOC L&S), an expert in the Middle East and global energy maritime transportation, has received eight self-propelled jack-up barges (JUBs) through its associated firm Zakher Marine International (ZMI) Holdings.

ADNOC L&S now has 39 jack-up barges in its fleet, solidifying its position as the owner and operator of one of the biggest offshore fleets in the Gulf.

In order to enter a new market and broaden its geographic reach, one of the barges will service the Iraqi market.

“With our established presence in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and now Iraq, we are strategically positioned to further expand our operations across Asia and explore new markets,” said Ali El Ali, CEO at ZMI Holdings.

These multipurpose JUBs were developed to offer a variety of field services, including operations, maintenance, and lodging at offshore fields.

“The addition of these self-propelled jack-up barges to our growing integrated logistics and shipping fleet aligns with our ambitious smart growth strategy, enabling us to provide a broader range of services to our customers and unlock new and sustainable value for ADNOC L&S as we venture into new markets,” said Captain Abdulkareem Al Masabi, CEO of ADNOC L&S.
