Communications – Media Chairman demoted

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The head of communications and media authority was demoted today from his post by Premier Nouri al-Maliki, a Cabinet statement reported. The Executive Director of the Authority Safaulddin Rabee’ Hussein was entrusted to run the post. The statement, received by IraqiNews.com, noted that the demotion was made according to the investigation report on the work of the cell companies in Iraq. Last month the Iraqi Parliament formed a fact-finding committee on the work and delay of the cell phone companies in paying 3 billion dollars to the state. RM (TS)/SR Number of Reads:173
