Electricity grids rehabilitated in Basra
BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Basra’s Services and Construction Support Committee on Tuesday completed the rehabilitation of power networks in the northern part of the province, said the committee’s spokesperson. “The old networks were totally replaced with new ones,” Rasheed al-Fahad told IraqiNews.com. “The committee has referred 12 electricity projects to private companies, with a total cost of 15 billion Iraqi diners (1 U.S. dollar= 1,118 Iraqi dinars),” he added.
