Floods affected Diwaniya farmers covered by compensations, says MP

Diwaniya (IraqiNews.com) MP Ihsan al-Awadi from Diwaniya province and the member of the Services Parliamentary Committee announced the approval of the Floods Compensations Parliamentary Committee to cover the people who were damaged due to floods in Diwaniya with the compensation grants.Awadi reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”We submitted a request to the Parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, to cover the people who were affected with floods in Diwaniya province with the compensations since their properties and houses were damaged due to heavy rain falling.””The MPs in the Compensations Parliamentary Committee discussed the compensation requests which were submitted by the people who were damaged due to floods and we will keep following this subject till we compensate all the damaged people as soon as possible,” he added. \END\
