Oil, agriculture ministries equipped with ID 783m items

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A state-owned company has signed contracts with the Iraqi ministries of oil and agriculture under which it will provide them with ID738 million worth of items, a ministerial source said on Sunday. “Al-Noman Company will equip the Gas Bottling Company, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Oil, with $665,000 worth of products,” the source told IraqiNews.com. The company supplied the bottling company with 100,000 safety valves worth over $26,000, according to the same source. The company has also supplied the State Palm Authority, affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture, with 20,000 drip irrigation machines at a cost of $92,000 (1 U.S. dollar=1,118 Iraqi dinars), the source noted.
