UAE amb. in Anbar to review investment opportunities
ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) ambassador to Iraq Abdullah Ibrahim reviewed with local officials in Anbar on Thursday economic conditions and investment and trade opportunities in the province, a local council source said. “Ambassador Ibrahim met with Anbar Provincial Council Chairman Jassem Mohammed Hamad and other members and exchanged views on means to further relations between officials in Anbar and Abu Dhabi,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The UAE envoy also got abreast of the industrial and service conditions in Anbar and what the UAE can offer to the province,” he added. Ibrahim also met with the Iraqi Sahwa (Awakening) Congress Chairman Ahmed Abu Risha and other tribal chiefs to discuss issues of mutual interest.
