$1.2m for 3 new schools in Karbala

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Three new school buildings have been completed in Karbala city on Tuesday, at a total cost of around $1.3 million. “The schools were constructed by local companies,” Dr. Abbass Nasser Hassani, member of the Karbala Provincial Council, told Iraqi News. He said that two of the schools have a capacity of 16 classrooms each, while the third one has a capacity of 10 classrooms. The holy city of Karbala lies 110 km southwest of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 1
