15 water compounds maintained in Karbala district

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Maintenance works on fifteen water compounds in a district in Karbala were finalized at a total cost of 194.971 million Iraqi dinars, a local official in the province said on Saturday. “Engineers and technicians in Karbala finalized works to maintain 15 water compounds in the villages of al-Jadwal al-Gharbi district, (23 km) east of Karbala city, in three months’ time,” Abbas Nasser Hassani, the Karbala Province Council’s Reconstruction Committee Chairman, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Filters inside these compounds have remained unchanged for a while before new pumps and filtering devices were installed,” Hassani added.
