$173 million for 224 new projects in Diwaniya

DIWANIYA / IraqiNews.com: Diwaniya’s deputy governor for technical affairs on Monday said that 224 different services project were awarded in the province, according to the 2008 regions’ development budget, with a total cost of $173 million. “The projects are related to the sectors of health, higher education, education, urban planning, mayoralties, electricity, sewage, water, roads and bridges, sports, water resources, and others,” Engineer Hazim Omran told IraqiNews.com.
