$2.6 m power transformer plant opened in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: The Basra governor, Sheltag Aboud al-Mayah, on Monday opened the al-Mawfiqiya power transformer plant in central Basra at a cost of $2.6 million provided by the donors countries. “The opening of the plant came by the support presented by the donors countries and the Multinational forces to improve and support the electricity condition in Basra ,” al-Mayah told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The project’s cost reached $2.6 million and was realized by a local company within more than one year,” he added.
