2 sewage projects in Karbala worth ID2b

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Two sanitary sewage projects were finalized in the district of al-Hindiya, eastern Karbala, at a total cost of nearly two billion Iraqi dinars (roughly $1.6 million), a local service official said on Sunday. “Two local firms finalized two projects for the sewage sector in al-Hindiya, (20 km) northern Karbala, at a cost of 1.994 billion Iraqi dinars,” Hani Abboud al-Yassari, the chairman of the Karbala provincial council’s services committee, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The first project is set up at the entrance of the district from the direction of Babel province at a length of seven kilometers and cost 1.76 billion dinars and took four months to finish,” he added. The source said the second project is a rainwater discharge network in al-Dhobbat neighborhood in central Karbala at a cost of 918 million dinars and took three months to finish.
