SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: Construction works have begun on a project to install a mobile electricity distribution station in Klar district, southern Sulaimaniya, at a total cost of $240 million U.S. dollars. “The capacity of the station is 16 MW,” the general director of Karmiyan’s electricity department, Engineer Hazem Kareem, told IraqiNews.com. “A total of $240 million U.S. dollars has been allocated for the project from Sulaimaniya’s development budget,” Kareem noted, adding that the scheduled completion period is 200 days. Klar district is 140 km southwest of Sulaimaniya city, which lies 364 kilometers north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. SS (P) 1
