336 industrial projects worth $29M OKed

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The General Department for Industrial Development gave the go-ahead for 336 projects worth of $29 million in September 2008, a media source from the Ministry of Industry and Minerals said on Wednesday. “The metal industries sector was ranked first with 96 permits, the foodstuff industry sector came second with 82 establishing authorizations, while the construction industry sector came third with 73 authorizations,” the source told IraqiNews.com.
