4 projects opened north of Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: Wassit Governor Lateef Hamad al-Turfa inaugurated on Friday four projects finalized at a cost of 915 million Iraqi dinars ($820,000) north of the city of al-Kut, according to the province’s media spokesman. “The four projects were opened in the district of al-Zubaydiya, (70 km) north of Kut, within the framework of the provincial development budget (PDB) projects for the year 2008,” Majid al-Atabi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The projects encompassed an electricity department, a nursery, sewage network center in the district and an agricultural section,” he added.
