50% of religious tourism revenues to Karbala
KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Parliament agreed to give 50 percent of the revenues coming from religious tourism in Karbala to the Shiite province. The same decision will be applied to every Iraqi province that brings revenues from religious tourism. “According to this decision, Karbala would get around $100 million per year,” Mohammed Hameed al-Mousawi, head of Karbala Provincial Council, told IraqiNews.com news agency on Wednesday.
