90% of Sulaimaniya international fair booths booked
SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: Nearly 90 percent of exhibition booths and stands at the 4 th Kurdistan International Fair, which is scheduled to take place on November 11, have been reserved, a source from the Iraqi-American Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sulaimaniya said. “Prices start from $1,900 for three square meters and preparations are about to complete,” Nowa Izzat told IraqiNews.com. Companies from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Jordan, Italy, Iran, and China will participate in the fair, in addition to local companies. A total of 36 donums (1 donum = 2,500 square meters) have been zoned in Taslouga area for the fair. In November 2007, the 3 rd Kurdistan International Fair was organized by the Iraq-American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IACCI). A total of 450 companies from 20 countries participated in the event, which attracted an estimated one million visitors. Established in May 2003, the IACCI includes more than 10,300 Iraqi and non-Iraqi members, with offices in Baghdad, Arbil, Sulaimaniya, Basra, Amman, Los Angeles, and Washington. SS (S)/SR 1
