Adnan al-Mufti meets EPEE representative in Arbil

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Speaker of the Kurdistan Region Parliament Adnan al-Mufti on Monday discussed with the representative of the French EPEE group means of activating the economic and investment movement in the region, according to a statement from the Kurdish Parliament. “The representative came to study the conditions in Kurdistan and its needs as well as the fields the French companies could invest in,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The French official expressed happiness for having visited Kurdistan and expressed the readiness of a number of French companies to contribute in reconstruction operations and in investment in water, sewage and energy sectors,” it also said, noting that al-Mufti asserted that the region will leave no stone unturned to facilitate the companies’ work.   SH (P)/SR 1
