Australian-Lebanese firm wants to invest $5b in Thi-Qar

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: An Australian-Lebanese firm has proposed a group of investment projects in Thi-Qar at a total amount of around $5 billion, the deputy head of the province’s Investment Commission said on Saturday. “The projects should be executed over a period of 4-5 years,” Ali Abdilabbass told Iraqi News. “The plan covers the sectors of power, housing and communication,” he said.
