Babel hosts conf. on private sector problems
BABEL / IraqiNews.com: The Babel Center for Business Community Development on Sunday held a conference to tackle the obstacles facing the private sector in the country. “In cooperation with Babel’s Chamber of Commerce, the investment commission in the province and Babel’s reconstruction team (P.R.T.), the conference was held at Mardoukh Hall in the archeological city of Babel,” the director of the center, Salah Bahiya, told IraqiNews.com news agency. Eleven workshops have been held on the sidelines of the conference, Bahiya noted. Investors and local businessmen have highlighted the need to eliminate administrative and financial corruption in the country, he added.
