Baghdad’s municipality signs $508m. service contracts

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Baghdad’s municipality has signed contracts worth $508 million U.S. dollars to set up sewage projects, according to a statement released by the municipality.”The most prominent of these projects are a main pipeline project and a pumping station at a cost of 68 billion Iraqi dinars (1 U.S. dollar= 1,118 Iraqi dinars),” read the statement that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “These two projects will serve the eastern side of the capital, al-Rasafa, including the neighborhoods of al-Shaab, al-Sadr and Baghdad al-Jadida,” the statement noted.
