Basra mulls establishing waste recycling factory with Iranian company

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Negotiations have took place with an Iranian company to set up a waste recycling factory in Basra, Basra’s deputy governor said on Friday. “The Iranian company presented an investment project to clean Basra through the establishment of a recycling factory to turn the waste into fertilizers,” Nezar Rabieaa al-Jaberi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The province is ready to help the Iranian company just like other foreign investment companies in Basra and to facilitate its work,” he added. He called on foreign companies to contribute in the investment projects in the province. Basra is 590 km south of Baghdad. SH (P) 2
