British trade delegation in Kurdistan soon

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: A delegation comprising representatives of a group of British companies will arrive in Iraq’s Kurdistan region in late November in an attempt to develop trade relations with their counterparts in the region, a local official said on Wednesday. “The visit is the first of its kind by British companies’ representatives to the region,” the deputy chairman of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Sulaimaniya, Sirwan Mohammed Mahmoud, told IraqiNews.com. The delegation, which includes 18 representatives of companies working in the fields of construction, foodstuffs, electronics, and others, is expected to meet with state officials and businessmen form Arbil and Sulaimaniya, Mahmoud noted.
