Company to furnish pumping station in Thi-Qar for $800,000

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Thatal-Sawary Chemical Industries Company signed an $800,000 contract with the General Department for Irrigation & Reclamation Projects to furnish the water lifting station of al-Masab al-Aam in Thi-Qar province, a media source from the industry & minerals ministry said on Saturday. “The contract falls within the company’s search for fresh marketing outlets for its products,” the source told IraqiNews.com. He revealed that the company also signed two other contracts with specialized companies to rehabilitate its thermals plant, adding the two contracts’ total value exceeded 502 million Iraqi dinars ($419,000).
