Contract signed to establish tourist resort in Diala
DIALA / IraqiNews.com: The Diala Investment Commission has signed a contract to set up a tourist resort, the biggest in Iraq, the DIC chairman said on Tuesday. “The contract was signed with an Iraqi investor, who lives in the United Arab Emirates, to establish a tourist resort in the region between Hamrien mountains in Khanaqin and al-Azeem district in Khales,” Rasem Ismail told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The project, which will be carried out by 25 companies in two stages, includes setting up five-star hotels, artificial lakes entertainment centers as well as bridges and roads to link the resort with Baghdad,” he added.
