Delegation from Dutch embassy discusses investment in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: A delegation from the Dutch embassy in Baghdad on Wednesday visited Basra and discussed with the province’s local officials sectors suitable for investment, according to the head of the Basra investment commission. “The delegation conveyed Dutch companies’ intention to learn the details of the investment process in Basra,” Dr. Hayder Ali told IraqiNews.com news agency. “There are many investment projects in the province and in all sectors,” he said. For his part, the head of the Dutch delegation said, “We will mediate the investment opportunities in Basra to Holland.” “Other visits will follow, and the soonest will be in August 2009,” he noted.
