Delegation of Free Zones visits UAE

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A delegation from the General Bureau of the Free Zones within the Finance Ministry, discussed with the officials in the UAE “The means to develop investment cooperation between the two countries and the modern styles and innovative ways to attract investments and how to promote them.”

A statement by the Bureau cited “A delegation headed by the Director General of the Bureau, Sabah Saleh al-Qaisi, visited the free zones in the United Arabic Emirates, and discussed with the officials there, expanding the horizons of mutual cooperation and coordination between both sides.”

“The delegation inspected the investment projects in these zones and the high level of engineering and architectural organization for these projects,” the statement added.

The statement mentioned “The members of the delegation stressed importance to make use of UAE expertise and transmit it to Iraq through enhancing bilateral cooperation.”

The General Bureau of Free Zones has signed earlier, two contracts with UAE (Oren Hidrocker Bones) Company that is specialized in trading chemical materials associated in process of digging oil wells, to invest two projects in the free zone in Khor Al-Zubair in Basra province.
