Deputy PM, UAE envoy take up cooperation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Deputy Prime Minister Rafie al-Issawi on Monday received in his Baghdad-based office the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to discuss means of cooperation in the fields of energy, transportation and investment. “Issawi will soon pay a visit to the United Arab Emirates to meet with the governors of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah,” according to a statement released by Issawi’s office and received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “We look forward to open new horizons of cooperation with the United Arab Emirates in the fields of civil aviation, ports administration, electricity generation, investment and industry,” the statement quoted Issawi as saying.
