Deputy premier stresses building Fao port as priority

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi deputy premier for energy affairs confirmed today that Iraq will begin construction on the Fao port despite holes in the architectural drawing plans. In a press conference with visiting Italian Economy Minister Paolo, Hussein Shahristani confirmed the government’s will to complete the project in cooperation with competent Italian companies. In reply, Italian Economic Minister Paolo Romani pointed out that Italy is ready to cooperate in the reconstructional  projects such as  roads, bridges, health, education, ports and other industrial spheres.
