Economic conference launched in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: A Basra-based conference on Saturday was held to tackle the introduction of “an economic tent system” that aims to provide coordination between the private and public sectors, the head of the province’s businessmen union said. “The conference defined the concept of economic tent,” Sabeeh Habeeb Yusor told IraqiNews.com news agency. “It means to allocate time and place for a meeting between representatives of the private and public sectors, in addition to college professors and experts,” he said. “This will serve the province’s economy,” he added.
