First economic fair opened in Kut

WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The first economic fair to support the infrastructure and to develop the Iraqi economy was opened in the city of Kut on Friday with the participation of 50 companies for two days, the media director of Wassit said. “Wassit governor, Latief Hamad Tarfa, on Friday opened the first economic fair of 2009 to support infrastructure and to develop the Iraqi economy with the participation of 50 Arab, foreign and international companies,” Majed al-Attabi told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The two-day fair was organized under the auspices of the Iraqi businessmen federation and the center to develop businesses in Wassit, in coordination with the Wassit province,” he noted.
