Investment permits given to Iraqi investors in Wassit
WASSIT / IraqiNews.com: The chairman of Wassit’s investment commission on Thursday said that it has given two investment permits to Iraqi investors to implement projects worth $1.472 billion Iraqi dinars (ID). “The first permit has been granted for a project to establish freezing storehouses on Kut-Baghdad road,” Chairman Sattar Jabir told IraqiNews.com news agency. The second project is a water purification factory, he added. Other permits will soon be granted to Italian, United Arab Emirates and Iranian companies. Wassit’s investment commission is an independent body that has been established in accordance with the Investment Law no. 13 of the year 2006.
