Iran studies Iraqi proposal to complete Najaf-Karbala railway

(IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, Iranian Interior Minister Abdul-Reda Rahmani Fadli announced, that Iraq has officially asked for Iran’s help in the construction of the Najaf-Karbala railway.

Fadli told the press, “The Iranian government is currently studying a proposal submitted by the Iraqi government to help in the construction of the railway that connects between the two Iraqi cities of Najaf and Karbala.”

He also confirmed that the Iraqi government has officially asked Iran to help in the completion of the railway project.
