Iraqi-British chamber of commerce opens branch in Falluja

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi-British Chamber of Commerce opened a branch in the city of Falluja, Anbar province, on Saturday with the aim of offering facilities and advice to businessmen and investors, the chamber director said. “The Chamber will offer facilities for Iraqi and foreign investors to help them implement investment projects in al-Anbar,” Sami Kashkoul told IraqiNews.com news agency. “There is a strong cooperation with some U.S. and Japanese organizations in the urban and economic development sphere in addition to large support by Iraqi businessmen to expand projects in Anbar,” he said. The Falluja branch is the Chamber’s third in Iraq after the main one in the Iraqi capital Baghdad and the one in Arbil, the capital of the Iraqi Kurdistan region, since the British Chamber of Commerce was first established in 2004 in association with Iraqi and British businessmen.
