Kahlaa specialized hospital on the way

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: The construction committee in Missan province on Monday referred a project to set up a specialized hospital in al-Kahlaa district to a local company, a technical assistant to Missan governor said. “The project, whose total cost is 20 billion Iraqi dinars (1 U.S. dollar = 1,118 Iraqi dinars), will be carried out on an area of 10 donums (1 donum = 2,500 square meters) within 12 months,” Engineer Mohammed Ulwan Shazr told IraqiNews.com. Missan is a Shiite province. Its capital city is al-Amara. Sitting on the Tigris River, Amara lies 390 km south of Baghdad. Missan, in the east of the country, bordering Iran, is home to many marsh Arabs. SS (P)/SR 1
