Kurdistan can export oil to the world- minister
ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The minister of natural resources in Iraq’s Kurdistan said that the region can export an estimated 100,000 barrels of oil per day to international markets. “Now we can export 100,000 barrels of oil per day to international markets via the Kirkuk pipeline, which leads (from the oil city of Kirkuk) to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, but an Iraqi Oil Ministry decision hinders exportation…,” Ashti Hawrami said in a statement published on the official web site of the Kurdistan Regional Government Kurdistan RegionG). The minister said that the Oil Ministry had warned the state-owned North Oil Company against providing assistance to the regional government with regards to the exportation of oil via the Kirkuk-Ceyhan oil pipeline.
