Kurdistan region elects founding body for Stock exchange in Arbil

ARBIL/IraqiNews.com: Kurdistan’s regional government on Wednesday announced it has picked ten figures to establish the founding body for Arbil stock exchange. “A founding body composed of ten figures was elected to set up Arbil stock exchange, “said Abdallah Ahmed, economy advisor for Kurdistan’s regional government, told IraqiNews.com.   Picked as the chief of the body, Ahmed noted “the body included the chief of Trade Chamber in Kurdistan region along with well-known businessmen and traders”.   “The new body would visit Baghdad to seek its help in opening the new bourse”.   Earlier, the Supreme Iraqi Stock exchange callef for Arbil to abide by the rules of the Iraqi body.   AM(P) 1
