Kurdistan to open the gate to economic prosperity in Iraq- PM

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: The prime minister of Iraq’s Kurdistan, Barham Ahmed Saleh, on Wednesday said that preparations were underway to open two large zones between Turkey, Iran and the region, which he said would open the gate to economic prosperity in the whole country. This came during a press conference held on the sidelines of the fifth International Trade Exhibition in Sulaimaniya, which was attended by IraqiNews.com news agency. “We have agreed with the Turkish and Iranian governments to open two large trade and industrial zones in Zakho district, Duhuk, and the border area of Bashmakh in an attempt to promote trade exchange,” Saleh pointed out.
