BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Ministry of Finance’s Land Bank granted 168 billion Iraqi dinars in loans from January 2 to November 5 of the current year. “In accordance with instructions from Minister Baqir Jabr al-Zubeidi, the bank has granted 168 billion Iraqi dinars (1 U.S. dollar= 1,118 Iraqi dinars) in loans to citizens seeking to build residential units,” according to a ministerial statement received by IraqiNews.com. “Engineering teams in the bank have conducted studies on rehabilitation work on its branches in Baghdad, Diwaniya, Muthanna, Karbala, Ninewa, and Babel,”  the statement added.
